We created JurisAI because we saw a critical gap: generic AI tools were failing Philippine lawyers, producing unreliable citations and hallucinated cases. We built something better.
JurisAI was founded by a team of legal practitioners and technologists who understood firsthand the frustrations of legal research in the Philippines. Countless hours spent searching through scattered databases, verifying citations, and cross-referencing cases.
When AI emerged as a potential solution, we saw both its promise and its dangers. Generic AI tools confidently cited non-existent cases, mixed up jurisdictions, and created plausible-sounding but completely fabricated legal principles.
We knew Philippine lawyers deserved better. So we built it ourselves.
To become the most trusted AI-powered legal research platform in the Philippines — where every citation is verified, every case is real, and every lawyer can practice with complete confidence in their research.
To empower every Philippine lawyer with AI tools that enhance — not compromise — their practice. We combine the power of artificial intelligence with the reliability of official SC E-Library sources to deliver research you can stake your reputation on.

Generic AI tools like raw AI are powerful — but they have a fatal flaw for legal work: they make things up and present fabrications as fact.
AI hallucination occurs when a language model generates content that sounds authoritative and plausible but is completely fabricated. In legal research, this manifests as:
"G.R. No. 182756, Santos v. Republic (2019)" — This case doesn't exist, but AI presents it with complete confidence, even inventing holdings and dicta.
Generic AI mixes Philippine, US, UK, and other jurisdictions. It might cite a US Supreme Court case as Philippine jurisprudence or apply common law principles where civil law governs.
AI can fabricate entire legal doctrines that sound legitimate but have no basis in Philippine jurisprudence, potentially misleading your entire legal strategy.
Real cases cited with fabricated holdings. The G.R. number exists, but the doctrine attributed to it was never part of that decision.
Citing non-existent cases in court filings can result in sanctions, case dismissal, and malpractice claims. Your reputation is on the line.
Lawyers have faced suspension for submitting AI-generated briefs with fake citations. The IBP takes research integrity seriously.
Bad research leads to bad advice. Your clients trust you to get it right — their freedom, property, and rights depend on it.
We strip ALL source URLs from AI responses and replace them ONLY with verified links from our database of real SC E-Library cases. If a case isn't in our verified database, it doesn't get cited.
Even if something slips through, our frontend validates every SC E-Library link. Document IDs are verified against known valid ranges. Invalid links are automatically rejected.
We sourced out directly from the official Supreme Court E-Library — the same source courts use. Our database updates daily with new decisions and statutes.
No confusion with US, UK, or other jurisdictions. JurisAI is trained exclusively on Philippine law, ensuring every response is relevant to your practice.
